"Miles and I are talking to each other about Season 2. There's certainly more to explore in the Addams' world" - said Alfred Gough.
Not depending on him alone, Netflix is evaluating various factors, such as the popularity of the series on streaming and whether it's worth renewing. If everything is confirmed, the new season of Wandinha should only be released at the end of 2023 or in the first half of 2024.

Based on the classic characters from The Addams Family, Wandinha (Wednesday in the original) follows the infamous character, here played by Jenna Ortega, as she investigates a series of supernatural murders around the city. The plot explores Wandinha's adolescence studying at Nevermore Academy, a school where she learns to master her paranormal abilities.
Throughout the series, the character will go through a process of maturing with the help of her mother, Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones). As Wandinha delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding the town, she discovers that something equally supernatural involved her parents 25 years ago. At the same time, Wandinha has to balance new and complicated relationships with her shrewd, cold and sarcastic personality. The series is written by Al Gough and Miles Millar and directed by Tim Burton.
