Tom Holland admits surprise at Garfield and Maguire's participation in 'No Way Home'

In a recent interview, Tom Holland, the current Spider man of the film franchises Marvel Studios, revealed that he was surprised by the participation of Andrew Garfield e Tobey Maguire in “No Way Home”.

According to Holland, when Jon Watts showed the idea, he said he didn't believe it at first and even stressed: “It will never happen”.

Tom Holland's fear was that his colleagues and former Spider-Men, Andrew and Tobey, would refuse to participate, which did not happen.

In “No Way Home”, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) asks Doctor Strange for help to make everyone forget his secret Spider-Man identity after it was revealed by Mysterio at the end of the previous film. But something goes wrong and he ends up opening portals to other dimensions, bringing in classic villains from old Spider-Man films, such as Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx). It is at this moment that Spider-Men from other dimensions, played by Garfield and Maguire, arrive on the scene to help Holland in his mission.

Spider-Man: No Way Home was a worldwide cinema success and grossed more than US$ 1.921 billion dollars, becoming one of Marvel's most profitable films.
