An adult animation of Velma, from Scooby-Doo on HBO, was released this Thursday, January 12th.
It's not Scooby-Doo! Velma is an adult animation that addresses haunting crimes and ghostly apparitions in a somewhat 'serious' way.
Created by Mindy Kaling, from The Office, the actress also voices the character. In her own series, Velma investigates more violent criminals and faces the mission of unraveling dark mysteries.
The series tells the origin of Velma Dinkley, something that is not covered in the Scooby-Doo franchise.
