In Ep15 of T5, Homer Simpson goes into space on a rocket even though he's not an astronaut. In the episode, the scene referred to what it would be like in the future, since it wasn't until 2013 that the first non-astronaut traveled into space through a contest.

2 The 3-Eyed Fish

The very first season of The Simpsons featured a 'mutant fish', a famous character from the series called Blinky. The mutant fish was a criticism of nuclear pollution in the world. Years later, in Argentina, a man caught a three-eyed fish, the curious thing is that it was near a nuclear power plant.

3 The Future on Mars

In some episodes of the series, The Simpsons go on vacation to Mars. The scene is normal, as if in the future humans could travel to the red planet in peace. The time jump is at least 30 years, and takes place around 2040.

4 Stealing Fat

In an episode of season 10 of The Simpsons, Homer comes up with the idea of stealing grease from fast food to sell. The idea didn't work and in the episode Homer is caught and arrested. The same thing happened in New York, two men were arrested stealing grease from fast food outlets.
